This area is integrated by a professional team of economists and doctors, and is recognized for its success in combining these two disciplines for over a decade, as well as the distinction that comes from the development of consulting, teaching and investigation activities carried out by a same working team.

The consulting area attempts to provide high-quality assessment, sustained on the experience and continuous effort involving the analysis and development of management instruments, based on the combination of the financial, economic and care factors that define the healthcare sector.

The program for economics and management of healthcare services is a teaching activity developed within the framework of the joint academic venture between cinve and ORT University, which involves the dictation of courses directed at university professionals and executives belonging to the private and public sector.

Research is focused on the production of knowledge on topics related to equity, the system’s financing, incentives and human resources, and it has been conducted mainly within the field of applied investigation.
